Dart Systems is pleased to announce the availability in the UK of a new range of cable pulling devices for routing wires inside buildings.
The cable installation tools include fish tape and composite glass fibre rods that are convenient and easy to use. The non-conductive materials used make them safe for pulling electrical, telecom and data cables through ducts, conduits and drilled holes in walls.
The range begins with Nylon Fish Tape. This is made from 4mm diameter nylon and combines safety with affordability for entry level work. ‘GlassJack’ is made from 3mm diameter composite fibreglass rod that can turn in tight circles without shearing. It comes with a tubular frame and an easy carry shoulder strap.
Commercial systems include ‘CableMaster’ and ‘Powerod’ which consists of 20m-40m of 3mm diameter composite fibreglass rod wound inside a compact, high impact resistant case. They feature fast feed out and rewind for efficient working over long distances. Accessories include hand and cable grips, cable pulling sets, guides, rod ends and splices, and cable gel.
The range is ideal for pulling wires in false ceilings, exposed and populated conduits, cable installation in overhead plenums, under floors, across cavity walls and other inaccessible spaces. They will appeal to many budgets in the pipe and cabling industry including electricians, plumbers, telecom engineers, data cablers, alarm and security installers, garden landscapers and DIY enthusiasts.
The products are currently manufactured by Stanlay and supplied in the UK by Dart Systems through electrical wholesalers and distributors.
